- BackLinkWatch [Absolutely Free]
BacklinkWatch is a
site explorer tool which freely shows you almost all the links pointing to a
blog. I use it specifically to find out where my competitors are getting their
links from.

Majestic SEO allows
you to delve deeper into the backlink profile of any website. You can see how
many links a site has, the growth of link count over time and even specific
data like the anchor text that is being used in those backlinks. You do have to
register for a free account to get data worth viewing, but it only takes a
minute.

Another wonderful
research site for checking backlinks of any site and how many they're,
including the new ones discovered ones. I use this site mainly to see how many
backlinks a site has and how many I'll need to outrank the site in question.

A fantastic tool for
looking out for wonderful long tail keywords which Google Keyword tool won't
see on a normal day. In case you still have doubt about its long tail keyword
efficacy, there is an option to download the trial version of the software and use it free for
10 days.

SEO Spider allows you to quickly analyse, audit and review a site from an
